Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Roblox Ball does not collect, store or share any personal data. The game has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party software development kits. It does not need an internet connection to play, and it does not send information about you to us or to anyone else.

2. Who we are

Roblox Ball is developed and published by Habib Ghaffarzadeh, an independent developer. For the purposes of data protection law, the developer is the data controller for this app, and can be reached at [email protected].

This policy covers the Roblox Ball iOS app and the website at www.robloxball.com.

3. What we do not collect

We want to be specific, because "we care about your privacy" means nothing on its own. Roblox Ball has:

• no registration, login, profile or user account of any kind;
• no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or attribution services;
• no advertising, ad networks or advertising identifiers (IDFA);
• no in-app purchases, subscriptions or payment processing;
• no access to your location, contacts, photos, calendar, camera, microphone, health data or Bluetooth;
• no social network logins, sharing plug-ins or leaderboards;
• no cookies or comparable tracking technologies in the app.

The app contains no networking code, so it cannot transmit data to a server of ours. We have no server that receives player data.

The website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no tracking scripts or third-party fonts. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical server logs, such as the requested address and the internet protocol address of the request, for the purposes of delivering pages and protecting the service against abuse. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

4. What the game stores on your device

To let you carry on where you left off, the game saves the following on your device using the standard iOS preferences store:

• which levels are unlocked, and how many stars you collected in each;
• your best completion time for each level;
• your total number of deaths;
• the hero you chose;
• your sound, music, vibration and language settings.

None of this identifies you. It stays inside the app's own storage area, and deleting the app removes it from the device.

5. iCloud backup

So that your progress survives a reinstall or a new iPhone, the game mirrors the items listed in section 4 to Apple's iCloud key-value store. This is an Apple service tied to your own Apple Account. The data goes only to your private iCloud storage, and neither the developer nor anyone else can read it.

This works only if you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled for apps. If you are not signed in, the game saves locally instead and plays exactly the same. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

6. Third parties

The game bundles no third-party libraries or advertising or analytics services. The only third party involved is Apple, which distributes the app through the App Store and provides the iCloud storage described above. Apple may collect information related to your App Store use, such as downloads and purchases, under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregate, anonymous App Store reports, for example download counts by country, which cannot identify individual players.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not hold any.

7. Children

Roblox Ball is suitable for all ages and is designed to be safe for children. It contains no advertising, no purchases, no chat, no links out to social media and no user-generated content. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, so there is nothing for a parent to request or delete beyond removing the app.

8. Your rights

Under laws such as the European Union and United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because Roblox Ball collects no personal data, we hold no records about you to disclose, correct or erase. If you write to us, we will confirm this and explain how to remove the game's local and iCloud data yourself, as described in the next section. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Deleting your data

You are in full control of the game's saved data:

• Inside the game: open Settings › Progress › Reset and confirm. This clears your progress on the device and in iCloud.
• On the device: deleting the app removes its local storage.
• In iCloud: open Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on your device and remove the app's data.

10. Security

Game data stays inside the app's sandbox, which iOS isolates from other apps, and is protected by your device passcode and encryption. Data mirrored to iCloud is protected by Apple in transit and at rest. Since no data leaves your device for us, there is no database of ours that could be breached.

11. Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that version ships. The current version is always available at www.robloxball.com/privacy.html.
